10-28-05 More Foxnews misinformation concerning 9-11 and Iraq

Can anyone please examine the Foxnews report that states “a clear connection between the Iraqi insurgency and the Sept. 11 attacks.”

On their homepage, the teaser headline reads: “Iraqi PM: Terror War Must Be Won Al-Jaafari acknowledges link between Iraq's insurgency, Sept. 11 attacks”

If true, this is an outrageously important issue however; if this is simply an attempt to deliberately mislead, then Foxnews needs to be held accountable for a blatant lack of journalistic integrity.

As I have read the story, their statement “a clear connection between the Iraqi insurgency and the Sept. 11 attacks” was never uttered by Al-Jaafair. Furthermore, Al-Jaafair did not use the work “link” or acknowledge any link. He simply said “What the Americans faced on Sept. 11 in New York and Washington, they are now facing in Iraq.” & "Terrorism is terrorism".

The use of the statement, written by Foxnews, appears to be intended to deliberately mislead.
